Alle Boote segelten gut und jeder hat die Position er verdient.

Delta Lloyd – Matthew Gregory (Navigator)
We see the Russians. They aren't just a blip on the sched report anymore. They are just ahead and to leeward. Everyone is fired up. Racing a 'real boat', that you can see with your own eyes, brings out the intensity in everyone onboard. It's much more fun than chasing blips on the computer screen around.
We expect another fast day of sailing today, now that we are in the easterly trade winds. 'Blast reaching' will be our mode of sailing for the next 24 hours...then we will be at the edge of the doldrums. From there anything can happen...stay tuned!
